Purpose: This article walks you through setting up the Larix Broadcaster app to stream directly to your LyveCom dashboard using RTMP.

Intended Audience: Creators, Hosts, Brand Partners, Ecommerce Managers

Setting Up Larix Broadcaster

Step 1: Download Larix Broadcaster

1. Go to the App Store or Google Play

2. Search for Larix Broadcaster and download the app

3. Open the app

4. Tap the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner

Step 2: Adjust Camera Settings

1. In Settings, select Camera

2. Set Orientation to Portrait

3. Set Resolution to 1920 x 1080

Step 3: Configure Video Encoding

1. Go back to Settings

2. Select Video Encoding

3. Toggle Bitrate Matches Resolution to ON

Step 4: Grab Your RTMP Link

1. Log into your LyveCom Dashboard

2. Go to Settings → Streaming

3. Scroll down to find the RTMP Link

4. Click Copy

   • If you're on a desktop, send the link to your phone via email or text

Step 5: Add RTMP Link in Larix

1. On your phone, go to Settings → Connections in the Larix app

2. Tap the + icon

3. Select Connection

4. Give your connection a name

5. Paste the RTMP URL into the URL field

6. Tap Save

Step 6: Start Your Stream

1. Back in your LyveCom Dashboard, select Source of Broadcast: Software

2. On your phone or tablet, tap Start to begin using your mobile camera

3. You'll know it's connected when you see the mobile camera preview in your dashboard

4. Tap Go Live when you're ready!
